We have enjoyed all the pasta dishes we have tried. Pizza is just ok. Limoncello cake is yummy.

The chef is amazing and food is delicious. Wait staff is knowledgeable of their dishes. Highly recommend. Outside appearance is misleading. Call ahead for dinner.

Amazing food and service! Forget going to Dallas or Fort Worth for a fancy, tasty restaurant experience-- its right here! Service is top notch! We've been a couple times over the years and just went for our Anniversary. Did not disappoint! Tomato Basil soup has a kick and its the best I've had! Crab cakes are stellar. We had the steak and lobster and it was spot on. There is so much on the menu and the prices are great for a fancy restaurant. My husband and I did share most apps and the entree and it was perfect. Drinks were amazing too! They know their alcohol and wine -- great variety. Don't overlook this jewel hidden in Roanoke!

Went back after 3 years and enjoyed the experience even more. The menu was updated and varied, with a prix fixe option that had great value. We had the warm Brie appetizer, the salmon and the fish special. All was fantastic. The blueberry buttermilk pie was good, but not great, with a tough crust and dense custard. Service was very good and the ambiance was pleasant.

I have be going to Classic for years. Very enjoyable atmosphere. FANTASTIC service, with FABULOUS food.

Great restaurant! Had the special (pork belly) was delicious. Service and staff were wonderful . Anyone who likes good tasting food and that’s original I recommend you give them a try! I wish there were more restaurants like this in the area. We will be back, soon!

Excellent Cuisine, Service and Atmosphere at Classic Cafe in Roanoke. Chris & Curtis are celebrating their 25th year in business. I have been coming since 1994. Worth the 62 round mile trip from my home. Always fresh and well prepared by the well known chef.

Great food and service! I had cashew crusted grouper that was flavorful and tender. The bread and salad were very good, but the Texas sheet cake was amazing. I've never had anything at the Classic that wasn't excellent.

Beautiful chef owned restaurant with excellent food and service! They have a garden out back to supply some of the veggies they serve. Go there - you won't be disappointed!

Ordered take out due to COVID. First time diner. Food quality and quantity was very good! My family had two pasta dishes, pan seared salmon and two desserts. All of them were very good. We look forward to our second meal here!

Classic Cafe is our favorite fine dining. The atmosphere is casual and respectful. Everyone seems to love their work and are eager to share that passion. It's infectious! Top notch food, service, and plenty of items fresh from the garden. Their wine selection excels, also. Expensive and worth it!

First time visit tonight with my husband and it was the best experience, the food was just incredible, just the right portion to satisfy that hunger. But our favorite is the atmosphere and it’s quality of service. Can’t wait to try that next dish🤗Certainly will be back to this 5 star place🙏🏼

Went here for a graduation celebration expecting a really good meal but was still surprised with just good everything turned out. I had a the daily special of beef tenderloin medallions with habanero goat cheese and chimichuri and the jalapeno apple cobbler for dessert. Both dishes were packed full of flavor and all spicy parts of the food were perfectly balanced to bring out the best in the dishes. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting an amazing dinner in an no-rush intimate setting.

This place is quite a delight. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food is impeccable, complements to the chef for sure. The bartender takes pride in his craft and the music was perfect. I will definitely be returning as well as giving gift certificates as presents.

I had been to Classic many years ago for lunch on occasion when I worked nearby. It was not my favorite place for a number of reasons. We went with another couple for Winter Restaurant Week (Classic will donate part of your check to a local charity). The ambiance, staff and food were all fantastic. The wait staff was exceptional; there when you needed them but not overbearing. The food was excellent; we all raved about our meals. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. A new favorite to add to the list. My wife had the salmon and it was mild, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had the tenderloin with the horseradish sauce accompanied with a side of wild mushrooms. Finished with the Texas sheet cake and the jalapeno cobbler. This is a true Roanoke gem!

Remarkable! My husband and I went here for the first time this week. Our waiter was excellent and walked us through the entire menu. The head chef came out and spoke with us about the wine menu and the meals he cooked. We started with the roasted garlic and goat cheese dip with parsley oil, served with croutons. I got the classic pork jägerschnitzel topped with a bacon mushroom gravy and my husband got prime beef ribeye. Everything we ate was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place!

The service is constantly efficient, good mood, super nice employees. I will come back again when I get here.

Once / year The Classic features my Favorite dish, Beef Pot Pie. I drive 62 miles round trip just to enjoy this unique Special treat. Family owned & operated for 25+ years.

The Classic Cafe at Roanoke might very well be the best place to eat on Oak Street, and it has extremely difficult competition.The food is excellent, the staff is attentive, and you're basically guaranteed to leave satisfied.

Walked in around 5:30 and was sat immediately, staff was very polite and attentive. Food was well prepared and delicious. Had the pan seared salmon and the wild mushrooms. Prices were a bit high, but food quality and attentive waitress made it worth the cost for me!

Delicious food. Amazing wine. Best staff. Overall this place is awesome, the staff is very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The tomato soup is a must. I’ve had the duck and the chicken and both were cooked perfectly and prepared with delicious sides. The staff is also very knowledgeable about wine, the will help you select a wine that compliments your food and your taste pallet.

I don't really need to say anything about this place. If you've been, you already know. If you've only heard about it, you probably know. If you haven't been, and you appreciate the most professional service, outstanding fare prepared by a real chef in a sophisticated atmosphere, this is your place. Absolutely wonderful for special occasions, you won't be disappointed.

Can I go less than one star?? Way over rated. We could live a month on what we spent. Coffee wasn’t even included. Go somewhere else for the $$$$. Glad we tried it so we can tell people not to waste the money

Outstanding service! The food was excellently prepared. Atmosphere is very comfortable and momma's dining room feel. Chase was was very attentive. He seems to honestly care about people and their personal dining experience.If your goal is to impress that special lady, and thank her for her grace and loving kindness, The Classic Cafe is the choice.

We've always loved The Classic. They are doing a wonderful job keeping their customers & staff safe during the pandemic by limiting service to takeout & delivery.
